Pro Artistry Courses .
Times– Training is Monday to Friday between 10-5pm approximately. Please ensure that you are not late. We will endeavor to complete the session at 5pm. This may run over, please inform the tutor if you wish to leave early. This causes disruption to other students and staff. Lunch breaks are 1 hour. A contact will be signed on the first day stating the terms and conditions of our Pro courses.
Tools you will need, you will need your own set of professional makeup brushes. If you wish to purchase a set of our NEMUA 24 PRO brushes, please let us know. They will be sent to you by post.
Pro Artistry Payments and Cancellations
All payments must be made in full 30 days before the courses start date.
Cancellation Policy- All courses are non refundable. If you cannot attend your training, we will happily move you one time on to another course date within the same year. To do so, you must give us a minimum of 14 days notice. All deposits/booking fee’s are non refundable. This includes first monthly instalment of your payment plan.
We will refund you the full price of any course you have paid for if for some reason NEMUA cancel your course. We will not issue a refund if the course or master class is cancelled due to an act of god.
Photographs – All photographs that are taken during your training belong to NEMUA. The photos will be produced in our training environment, using products supplied by NEMUA. Please ensure you credit all photos to NEMUA when used by you whilst at the academy and in the future.
Referral system – If you introduce a friend to NEMUA we will pay you £25. You must send us and invoice and we will send you the payment within 14 working days subject to approval. The customer must not have made contact with us previously. When the introduced person have completed their full training, send us an and we will pay you as a thank you.
NEMUA certificate of attendance – When you have completed your training you will receive a certificate of attendance to gain your public liability insurance. This is not a regulated certificate. NEMUA has the right to refuse an attendance certificate if we are not happy with your development. We will endeavor to support you while you are training with us. You must complete the full course to receive our certificate. If you cannot attend one of the course days, please let the tutor know and we can give you homework to complete or you can attend that particular date on the next pro sessions. Until all units are complete, a certificate would not be presented. All certificates will be sent via the Royal mail once you have received your professional shoot images.
Conduct All are students are expected to be polite and respectful towards each other. Bullying and discrimination will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the course.
Personal hygiene You will be working in a professional environment, working closely with others. This means fresh breath, clean hands, clean fingernails, clean clothes are necessary. If you are a smoker please ensure you smell fresh when returning to the class. If you are selected to assist our trainers or contacts, please remember tat you are representing The North East Makeup Academy and your conduct reflects positively and negatively on us.
Plagiarism – All staff and students that attend NEMUA will be asked to sign a plagiarism agreement to ensure our training techniques are not used with other makeup training academies. All trainers of NEMUA are not obliged to poach students of NEMUA
Masterclasses: Workshops and makeup master classes are non refundable. Please ensure you attend the date that you have requested on the sign up form or with a member of our team. To take advantage of any offer we have available, the master classes you must be completed within the same month. Should you need to change this date due to personal circumstance, we can re-book the date one time only as a goodwill gesture, within the 60 day time frame from booking. If you have purchased a workshop or makeup masterclass it must be used within the 60 days from the purchase date. You can book on to any of the workshops or makeup master classes that are convenient for you. You can also choose the option to transfer the voucher to a friend or family member. Please ensure you contact us and inform us in this circumstance.
Masterclasses are for non professional customer that wish to learn to apply their own makeup. You will be asked to sign our contact to ensure your masterclass training is for personal use only.
Your right to cancel- You have 14 days cooling off period should you decide you do not wish to complete Pro training or masterclass sessions. This date is calculated from the date you filled in and forwarded us the sign up form.
Complaints procedureWe will give you guidance and support throughout your training with us. If for any reason you are not happy and you would like to make a complaint please put this grievance in writing and we will respond to you within 14 working days.
