The Pro Artistry Foundation Diploma £1100

This course has been designed for beginners with little or no knowledge of makeup. It will give you substantial knowledge in the basics of makeup. After your 5 days of intense makeup training with the NEMUA you will be able to achieve a day and evening look on a client using techniques that are usually reserved for advanced courses.

This will include learning about the colour wheel, compensating for different face and eye shapes, undertones, understanding your brushes and getting the most from your kit. We’ll teach you valuable information about the industry including product discounts, marketing yourself correctly, building a good reputation, assembling a cost effective kit and troubleshooting to ensure you save money when starting out.
Each session we’ll be teaching you how to create age appropriate looks, interact with customers and take into consideration what colours compliment one another so you can create a full look for your client to ensure you get booked again! NEMUA is going to train you to apply flawless makeup but teach you to take your time to look at the individuals features, bone structure and outfit so you are a makeup artist and you understand why you are doing your role.

You’ll work with a different student each time you apply makeup and with out realising it you’ll be building up your skills each day, of course it’s going to take practice when you leave us, but you’ve had a great introduction to makeup applications!

The second week of the Pro Diploma is structured to build on the skills your have learned in the first 5 days. You’ll learn basic hair techniques, bridal makeup, advanced eye techniques, vintage makeup and you’ll experience what’s it’s like to work on a shoot. We’ll give you a brief and you’ll design a mood board and make the final decisions on your creation.

I’ve just completed the 2 week diploma and am now a qualified makeup artist! I’ve loved the course. Lisa is highly skilled and very professional. The course teaches you a variety of different techniques of makeup in stages so its easy to follow. Lisa provides you with so much information to get your business set up, she’s really informative and genuinely wants you to suceed. The course has been really fun, every day has been different and i’ve had the opportunity to work on a variety of different models which has really helped.
Anyone thinking of doing the course i’d say go for it!! I took the plunge with no experience of makeup except doing my own and putting strip lashes on my friends. I now feel confident in completing a full look for someone. I’m definitely going to come back to complete some additional courses. Highly recommend to anyone with an interest in makeup and beauty.

I’m currently doing the 3 week makeup course at NEMUA with Lisa and I highly recommend it.

I have gone into makeup as a complete beginner to being able to apply full makeup, lashes and analyse face shapes in only 2 weeks!

I am so pleased I opted for the 3 week course as it has gotten really technical and I’m loving learing about the industry trends.
I don’t want to leave, Lisa is so lovely. I’ve already booked other courses at the salon so I can come back in the future

Just want to say a huge thank you for the course, and all the help you have gave me! Even after the course we are still in contact trying to put together the perfect kit! Couldnt thank you enough Lisa Devanny. The course has give me so much confidence with makeup and I can’t wait to work alongside you in the future and hopefully attend more courses! I have not only learnt so much over the 5 days but made some amazing friends who I know I will be keeping in touch with, couldn’t recommend this academy anymore. Thank you!! xxx
